Dr. Eric Obeng is an innovative, dedicated, self-driven, disciplined, and highly organized Certified Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) professional with over 16 years of work experience in the following industries: manufacturing, construction, health care, mining, oil and gas, government, education, transportation, supply chain, and logistics.
Currently working as a Professor of Health and Safety at Herzing College, Canada, and Safety Advisor – The City of Ottawa, Municipal Government of Canada.

Our Team

Dr. Niendow Al-Hassan

Dr. Niendow Al-Hassan is adaptable, efficient, and proficient in both French and English. He is committed to improving workplace culture through traditional and innovative means of promoting physical and psychological safety. His 8 years of clinical practice in physiotherapy and 4 years as a physician have cultivated his passion for improving workplace safety in the Healthcare system. Niendow is currently the Workplace Safety & Violence Prevention Officer at the Royal Ottawa Health Care Group in Ottawa/Brockville Ontario.

Shaun Thrasher

Shaun is a dedicated Health and Safety Advisor with over 20 years’ experience in heavy equipment, construction-site management, and landscaping. He graduated with honours from Herzing college (Occupational H&S) and is currently the primary safety advisor for the ESAP project for Black & McDonald. He is highly observant with a keen eye for compliance and legislation. Having had personal experience with work related injuries, he has a strong passion for safety in the workplace.
